Rauschmayer wedding rings – handcrafted in Pforzheim

Our wedding rings come from RAUSCHMAYER, a German ring manufactory in Pforzheim, the heart of German jewellery making. Every pair is made for you only after you order – with careful handcraft, the highest quality standards and 100% made in Germany. The manufacturer grants a 25-year repurchase guarantee on your rings.

A pair of rings that exists only once

Your wedding ring consultation is just as warm and personal as our bridal appointments. We only ever welcome one couple at a time – exclusively, just the two of you and us. And we always find your rings. Honestly, our display models are the ones chosen least: in around 90% of consultations we create a completely unique design together with you in the Rauschmayer 3D configurator. In the end, every couple wears rings that exist nowhere else. And because we can freely choose the gold alloy, width and stones, we can easily adapt the value of your rings to your budget.

Gold, platinum or bicolour – material & design

Classic yellow gold, modern white gold, romantic rose gold, refined platinum or a combination of two colours: with us you try the materials directly on your finger. You choose width, thickness, profile and finish – polished, matte, brushed or textured. For her ring, brilliants, a fine row of diamonds or a single stone are possible, also with lab-grown diamonds as a sustainable alternative. Learn more on our page about diamonds. Our recommendation for everyday wear: gold from 585 (14 carat), i.e. at least 58.5% fine gold – or 750 gold and platinum if you want something especially fine and durable.

Design your wedding bands with the 3D configurator

From home you can already design your dream rings with the Rauschmayer 3D configurator and see them in a lifelike view. Save your personal design code and bring it to your consultation. Together we look at your design, refine the details and order your rings. Because every pair is made individually, we can adapt your rings very flexibly to your budget. Wedding rings start at €490 per pair.

Engraving – your words for eternity

Your initials, your wedding date or a line that belongs only to you: an engraving makes your wedding rings truly personal. We are happy to advise you on what is possible on your rings.

How your wedding ring consultation works

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WEDDING RINGS IN DRESDEN

Do we need an appointment for the wedding ring consultation?

Yes. We advise exclusively by appointment so that we can take all the time you need. Book online, Monday to Saturday. The consultation is free and without obligation.

When should we buy our wedding rings?

Ideally plan three to four months before your wedding. Every pair is made individually for you, which leaves enough time for engraving and pick-up. Need it faster? Talk to us and we will find a solution.

How much do wedding rings cost with you?

The price depends on material, width, thickness and stones. Because your rings are only made after you order, we can adapt them to your budget. Wedding rings start at €490 per pair. In the consultation we show you what is possible within your range.

Can we have our ring size measured with you?

Yes, we measure your ring sizes professionally during the consultation, so your wedding bands will fit perfectly.

Do you also offer engagement rings?

Yes. You will also find engagement rings in Dresden with us, with natural or lab-grown diamonds. More answers in our FAQ.

Which gold alloy is right – 333, 585 or 750?

The number shows the fine gold content in parts per thousand: 333 is 8 carat, 585 is 14 carat, 750 is 18 carat. Pure gold is too soft for a ring, so it is alloyed with other metals. 333 gold is affordable but scratches more easily and can discolour over time. For rings you wear every day we recommend at least 585 gold. 750 gold has a richer colour and feels especially precious.

White gold, platinum or palladium – what is the difference?

White gold is gold alloyed with light metals such as palladium. High-quality white gold is often rhodium-plated for a brilliant white; this wears off over time and can be renewed. Platinum is naturally greyish white, harder and heavier than gold and keeps its colour for good. Palladium is silvery white, lighter and usually more affordable than platinum.

Which gold colours are available?

Classic yellow gold, white gold, romantic rose and red gold, warm summer gold and even grey or green gold. The colour comes from the metals the gold is alloyed with: copper makes it redder, silver lighter. Every Rauschmayer model is available in every alloy – also bicolour or combining three shades.

Which surfaces are possible?

High polish, satin matte, sandblasted, ice matte, brushed across, lengthways or diagonally, and hammered with small hand-set dents. Polished and matte areas can be combined on one ring. At the fitting we show you the effect right on your finger.

Natural or lab-grown diamonds – what is the difference?

Both are real diamonds made of pure carbon with identical chemical and physical properties – indistinguishable to the naked eye. Natural diamonds formed in the earth over millions of years and stand for tradition and rarity. Lab-grown diamonds grow within weeks under controlled conditions, need no mining and are usually much more affordable at the same size. Labs such as GIA or IGI state the origin in the certificate.

How are lab-grown diamonds made?

There are two methods. With HPHT, a small diamond seed grows under extreme pressure and temperatures of several thousand degrees. With CVD, carbon from a gas mixture is deposited layer by layer on the seed. The stones are then cut, polished and set – just like natural diamonds.

How can I tell the quality of a diamond?

By the 4 Cs: carat (weight – 1 carat is 0.2 grams), cut, clarity and colour. A true brilliant has at least 57 facets. During the consultation we place different qualities side by side so you can see what matters.

Which engraving is possible?

Inside we engrave names, a date or a sentence – as a fine diamond engraving or a precise laser engraving with various fonts and symbols. With the laser even your handwriting, a fingerprint or your own motif is possible, also on the outside or side of the ring. For our brides the engraving is currently a gift from us.

What does the 25-year repurchase guarantee mean?

Rauschmayer guarantees that you can reorder your ring model years later – for example if a ring gets lost or you would like a matching eternity or stacking ring.
