ABOUT ME.
Hey, I’m Juliane – founder & soul behind BLUSH & BLEU. Social worker, happily married, mom of two wonderful girls, a people person with a sensitive touch, design lover and vintage-house addict. I love real conversations, good energy and spaces that tell stories.
I’ve always sensed when “more” was possible – more depth, more style, more feeling. In 2018 there was that one defining moment: I accompanied my best friend on the search for her dress. And somehow everything was … the same. Polished. Loud. Without magic. I immediately had that it-could-be-better feeling. I dreamed of a bridal store that was different. More intimate. More personal. With soul, substance and style.
With BLUSH & BLEU I created a place that is more than a shop. It’s a feeling. It’s about butterflies, trust, honest advice – and above all: about you. Your look. Your story. And that one moment when everything feels right.
I love fashion, interiors, curated spaces and aesthetics that stay real. And I believe in places that move us – because they are made with passion.
In 2025, with Villa Waldeck, I completed my vision: a boutique universe for bridalwear, fine jewelry, wedding celebrations & very soon – groomswear. A place full of style, history and atmosphere. Created for couples who don’t want compromises. But goosebumps.

THE STORY
2018 – IT ALL BEGINS WITH A SEARCH.
That year, I accompanied a close friend on the search for her dress – the one that makes your heart race and lets you forget the world for a moment. We visited many boutiques, but somehow a little bit of magic was always missing. Sometimes it was the atmosphere, sometimes the sense of style, sometimes the personal touch. An idea began to grow in me: this can be done differently. And above all – it can be done with more heart. I had a clear vision of a place that is more than just a bridal shop. A space to arrive and feel at home. With honest advice, quality, style – and genuine enthusiasm for what this moment means.
THE BIRTH OF BLUSH & BLEU.
With this idea, BLUSH & BLEU opened its doors in Dresden for the first time. From the very beginning it was clear: we didn’t want to be a classic bridal shop. We wanted to be a boutique for modern brides with personality – a place of experience that connects, inspires and moves.What has defined us from the start? Time for real advice. A selection that doesn’t just follow trends but rethinks them. And a team that is there for you with all its heart.
2021 – MY LABEL.
OH LOVELY JULIE. My passion for design and craftsmanship led me to found my own label in 2021: OH LOVELY JULIE. The label stands for lightness, clarity and contemporary glamour – made for brides who want to live their style. And for dresses that write stories.
2025 – PODCAST: WEDDING, VISIONS & VOGUE.
In spring 2025, my own podcast went live – WEDDING, VISIONS & VOGUE. A platform for all the topics that shape modern weddings today. Here I talk about aesthetics, values, sustainability, individuality and female empowerment. About love – not in clichés, but with depth and substance.
The podcast is my voice for a new wedding world: bold, stylish, authentic.
JUNE 2025 – VILLA WALDECK.
With the move to VILLA WALDECK, I took my vision to the next level. In the stylishly restored villa, I now bring everything together under one roof: bridal fashion, exclusive wedding rings, soon menswear too – and a wedding venue as individual as the couples who celebrate here. A place full of atmosphere, history and character. For the most beautiful “I do” moments – and far beyond.
